Considering the Pro version is $50AUD, I'm not sure I could justify it vs. So the lite version works with SE? I saw it was last updated in 2009, so I wasn't sure if it was compatible. There's freeware options too but I've not tried those this time round. You've got 3 payware options basically - Traffic 360 from JustFlight, Ultimate Traffic 2 from Flight1 and MyTraffic. Publicado originalmente por Morag MacRae:I looked into this a little while ago. These are just my impressions so I might have got a few details out but that's basically it :) It's just a question of knowing the limitations of each.

HTH some, they are all good programs and when I saw threads like this people tend to be quite happy with whichever one they buy. It uses the AI models from MyTraffic if you have that installed so I do that. When I use Vox ATC then that handles all the traffic with Simconnect similar to UT2. Threre's an upgrade option from MyTraffic LITE to PRO which is the cheapest way to get PRO - I might do that one day but I've not felt any need to yet. You still get AI outside these areas but only the long haul stuff. I went for MyTraffic LITE which is cheaper and, well, a lot lighter - it justs adds a variety of aircraft but the cut down is it only really gives you traffic in Eu and NA. It's quantity over quality in some areas I think. It adds a massive amount of AI aircraft but some of the models are a little bit dodgy. MyTraffic PRO is still being updated and is very good by all accounts but it's a monster - something like a 10gig install. MyTraffic is very highly rated - there's basically 3 versions of this, The Aerosoft 2013 version mentioned above which I don't know much about other than it's a version of MyTraffic. I think this one compares to MyTraffic, might be a little better looking AI models. It was ok but I had issues running FS with too much AI back then so I didn't really get full use out of it. Traffic 360 I've not used, I do have the boxed version of TrafficX which I used years ago. It's better for airline traffic, not so good on GA

UT uses more realistic routes so it's the one to get if this is important to you. Other traffic programs tend to have AI just fly from one airport to another in s straight line. And some other issues like that which you may or may not want to live with.

There's ups and downs to this - it tends to perform better but if you open something from the menu, because it's simconnect, the traffic will vanish. Ultimate Traffic works a little differently to the others in that it adds the Traffic from oustide FS via Simconnect. They all have their pros and cons, none of them is perfect but they are all pretty good.
